Our hygienists, assistants, and administrators are all extremely skilled and have years of real-world experience, but first and foremost, they are just a group of really kind and friendly people who truly care about our patients’ wellbeing. Monica, Treatment Coordinator
Monica has been working in dentistry for over two decades now, and she has a genuine passion for helping people and showing them how much a genuine smile can brighten their day! After attending OSU, she earned her dental education at Central Ohio Dental Assisting School. She is certified in radiology and nitrous oxide monitoring.
Originally from Pickerington (go Tigers!), Monica and her husband Michael have two daughters named Ahkia and Monique, as well as a Shih Tzu named Bentley. Whenever she’s not busy at work, she spends her free time with family and friends and watching her daughters grow up.
An interesting fact about Monica: Her favorite season is fall, and she’s always up for working in her yard or watching sports. She also loves seeing her daughters dance and model!
Lisa, Front Desk Assistant
Lisa originally hails from Fremont, OH, and she attended Terra State Community College. Today, her career in the dental world spans 15 years so far. She loves being a part of the Sedalia Dental team and getting to spend time with such amazing coworkers on a daily basis.
Lisa has two grown daughters and a Yellow Lab grandpuppy. When she isn’t busy at the dental office, she enjoys spending quality time with family, working as a Mary Kay Consultant, keeping up with OSU football, fishing, and snow skiing.
An interesting fact about Lisa: She always loves spending the day on Lake Erie with her dad.
Emily, Front Desk Assistant
Emily is from the Columbus area and has attended courses at Columbus State. She is so proud to get to work with such amazing coworkers here at Sedalia Dental and help people receive the dental treatment they need. Whenever she has free time outside of the dental office, she loves camping, traveling to the beach, going to festivals, and listening to music.
An interesting fact about Emily: She has seven siblings!
Angela, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Angela’s career in the dental field covers over a decade now, and she loves helping and educating patients from the local community every day! Originally from the East Side, she earned her education from Columbus State Community College and Sinclair Community College. She is certified in coronal polishing, sealants, X-rays, and nitrous oxide monitoring.
Angela and her husband Shane have a White Husky named Ava and two cats. Her hobbies include being outside, spending time with her family, going hiking, and swimming.
An interesting fact about Angela: She just got married in August of 2018, and she and Shane both work in the dental field!
Cynthia, Certified Dental Assistant
Cynthia’s career in the oral healthcare fields spans over two decades now, and she has a genuine passion for helping patients smile brighter. She is certified in radiology, nitrous monitoring, CPR, coronal polishing, and sealants, having studied at Sinclair Community College and Ohio State.
Cynthia is from Groveport and has a son and a doggy at home. Whenever she has free time, her hobbies include spending time with family, going to Grace Church, and singing.
Kat, Certified Dental Assistant
Kat has been working in dentistry for nearly a decade now. She has studied at Columbus Business College and is currently attended Columbus State Community College. Her favorite part of working here at Sedalia Dental is easy – she loves meeting new people every day!
Originally from Spring City, TN, Kat has a fiancé, Rob, and a daughter named Hallie Jo. Her current favorite hobby outside of work is making bows/headbands for Hallie Joe, shopping, and cooking (when there’s time).
An interesting fact about Kat: She is the second oldest of six girls and loves all of those weirdos to pieces.
Megan M., Dental Assistant
Originally from Columbus, Megan studied at Ohio Institute of Health Careers. She is certified in CPR, nitrous oxide, and E4D/Sirona technology. Although she recently joined Sedalia Dental, she has over 13 years of experience in oral healthcare overall.
Megan has a family of all boys, and plenty of her free time outside of work is spent in mud, playing with nerf guns, and watching football. She also enjoys going to patio happy hours, doing karaoke, and going to church.
An interesting fact about Megan: She thinks EVERYTHING about her is interesting!
Aubrie, Dental Hygienist
Aubrie is from Louisville, and she earned her education form Stark State College. She is certified in CPR and radiology. Today, her career in dentistry spans over two years and counting, and she loves getting to know the patients well during every appointment. Giving them a smile they can be proud of is a great feeling!
Aubrie comes from a family of six, as well as one special fur baby. When she isn’t busy at work, she spends her free time hanging out outdoors, going on walks with her dog, and crafting.
An interesting fact about Aubrie: She’s a twin!
Christine, Registered Dental Hygienist
Christine attended Colorado State for her dental education and has now been working in the field for over five years. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to help teach others about the importance of oral health.
Originally from Grove City, Christine’s family consists of her sister and a niece whom she adores very much. Outside of the dental office, she loves spending time with her pets, going on walks, riding her bike, swimming, and playing with her special niece.
An interesting fact about Christine: She’s a big football fan and loves everything fall too!
Megan B., Dental Hygienist
Megan attended Shawnee State for her education and is trained in local anesthesia and the administration of nitrous oxide. Today, her career in dentistry spans five years and counting! She enjoys getting to know patients very well during their appointments.
Originally from Circleville, Megan is married and has two puppy babies. She loves spending time with her dogs outside of work, as well as shopping and cooking.
